The Original Library Building,

built circa-1900, was gifted by a successful businessman. More space was added in 1970 for a total of 18,150 square feet and a major renovation was completed in 2015. Plans are already in place for improvements to the Library’s lower-level in order to best prepare for future needs.

The Library is a vibrant community center, a hub of information, and the home of a keeper-of-artifacts located in the heart of downtown Dixon.
