Congratulations to Katherine Holt on being hired as the next Director of the Riverdale Public Library District! 

Ms. Holt comes to Riverdale from the Chicago Heights Public Library where they worked in Adult Services.  Prior to Chicago Heights, Ms. Holt worked at the Lincoln Library in Springfield and as director of the Galesburg and Forrest libraries.]
 
The Board appreciated the experience Ms. Holt brings to Riverdale along with her passion for making libraries cornerstones in their communities.  Board President Vickie Williams said “Kate’s experience as a director and in rebuilding library services are exactly what we need.” Board Treasurer Marlene Brown added. “Kate has a strong vision for libraries that will help us to restore services to meet the needs of everyone in Riverdale.”
